InMotion X1: Early Rider Feedback – Who It’s For and Why It’s Turning Heads – Australia

The InMotion X1 is one of the most discussed new electric unicycles of 2026. Full official specs are not out yet, but riders, racers, and reviewers who have already spent time on demo and prototype units are painting a clear picture.

What People Are Saying So Far

Across demo tours and trail sessions, a few points keep coming up:

  • Strong, usable torque — Especially at low speeds and on climbs. Steep sections and loose ground feel more manageable, and heavier riders have noted real confidence from the power delivery.
  • Capable, adjustable suspension — It handles ruts, rocks, jumps, and technical terrain well while remaining composed. Many riders have been impressed with how well it also soaks up imperfect pavement and small street bumps.
  • Balanced and playful feel — Stable when it needs to be, yet lively in the air and relatively nimble for its capability.
  • Better on the street than expected — Although it is clearly built first for off-road use, the same torque and suspension that work on trails also make city and mixed riding more enjoyable.

Feedback has come from experienced racers, everyday trail riders, heavier riders, and some less experienced off-roaders. The overall tone so far is strongly positive.

Who the X1 Is For

The X1 is aimed at riders who want a capable off-road and trail electric unicycle. If your riding involves dirt, climbs, technical sections, or mixed terrain, this is the machine InMotion has designed for that purpose.

It also works well for people who want one wheel that can handle serious trails and still feel useful for city or daily mixed riding.

Who It May Not Suit

If you mainly want a very light pure city or short-commute wheel, or if you are brand new to electric unicycles, other options may be a better fit. The X1 is better suited to riders who already have some experience and want more capability, especially off pavement.

Current Status

The units being ridden are still pre-production or demo examples. Firmware is still being refined, which is normal at this stage. What is already clear is the core character: strong usable torque, effective suspension, good balance, and a clear off-road focus with useful street versatility.
